Tom and Chrystelle first met at a best friend’s wedding in the summer of 2018. They chatted and danced, and at the strike of midnight just like Cinderella, Tom took off without exchanging any contact details.

Thanks to social media, Tom slid into Chrystelle’s DMs, and the rest was history.

Just before their first date, Tom told Chrystelle he was fixing a friend’s bike. Little did Chrystelle know that this bike involved wearing lycra, not a leather jacket.

She also didn’t know people cycled 200km a day for fun, but she is now a changed person. Tom on the other hand used to cycle 200km in a day for fun, but he, too, is a changed person.

On February 20th, 2024, Tom popped the question and proposed to Chrystelle in Langkawi, Malaysia, close to her family.

28 months and a house renovation later, they cannot wait to celebrate their wedding with all of their loved ones.

Just kidding. The house renovation will probably never end.
